The Power of You: Clear & Balance Your Chakras with Wearable – Functional Art
You know you’re here to make a difference in the world … yet sometimes you still find yourself stuck in fear, lack, and doubt.
When you wear or use any Power of You design, you are actually clearing blocks and balancing your energy around that particular chakra. Whether you’re wearing a t-shirt or drinking coffee from a mug, the designs themselves are embedded with clearing, balancing energy and power.
Working for over 35 years with fabrics and dyes, I stand in a long line of sacred cloth makers all over the world. Every culture has a way of expressing the sacred in the cloth they weave or embellish. The actual fibers are imbued with power and energy. In this modern version, even though I don’t make each shirt or product individually, the designs themselves carry this energy and power.
These healing chakra designs are my personal interpretation of the energy and spirit associated with each chakra.
Each original design is created by hand painting dyes on silk. The dyes flow and spread, sink into the silk, creating their own unique patterns on the cloth. I then build on this base of serendipity with focused intention adding depth with colored pencils and markers until I feel the design really sings.
The clearing phrases are based on the particular energy and life issues of that chakra.
