Understanding Men with Jenn – Human Animal, Human Spirit & “Enough” – September 16 – Replay
HUMAN ANIMAL, HUMAN SPIRIT & “ENOUGH”
This was another incredible opportunity to delve into the mysteries of the minds of men (and women). Jennifer eloquently shared foundational information that she learned from PAX about the biological imperatives… the instincts that we’ve brought with us into this human experience through our DNA and our biology.
When the human animal goes into reaction, most of the time we are in a place of instinct, an effortless place where the different biological qualities of men and women show up quite naturally. For men the quality is having a single focus that allows them to be great warriors, providers and protectors. Women, on the other hand, see everything at once because of a diffuse awareness instinct, which allows the ability to be great gatherers, constantly aware of where the food can be found, and a biological imperative created from having been prey.
For a man, a woman’s diffuse awareness instinct can be interpreted as scattered, and for a woman, a man’s single focus instinct can appear to be that he’s ignoring her.
The new human spirit paradigm is emerging where we can use our instincts to fuel the mind in a way that allows men and women to embrace new ways of being with each other in the world. We now have the opportunity, when we understand those instincts, to choose to see each other in a new light… to choose to have space for the single focused man and the diffuse awareness of women, creating beautiful moments of human spirit, when we honor the instincts of the opposite sex.

Our brilliant man panel, Brian, Curtis and Jon graciously gifted us, once again, with their insights on what it means to be “enough.” They show up so beautifully, with such great heart and the intention of authentic sharing, that these calls feel like precious jewels offered in rare containers.
